Sarah Kasper

I was born and raised in Colorado. Early in my life, music became an important vehicle for self-expression. I studied the violin for nine years and just recently shifted my focus to painting and ceramics. In May of 2006 I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Painting. My senior year I discovered that clay and I have a very significant relationship. I’m looking forward to pursuing my passions of music, painting, and pottery, and examining the ways in which different art forms are inherently interrelated. I feel that different art forms are often too compartmentalized and art can be better understood and appreciated if seen through eyes (and ears) that are flavored by a variety of artistic exposure.
